The Mobile Dental Clinic offers the highest level of dental treatment for the homebound.
Individuals over the age of 18 who are unable to visit a dental clinic can receive dental services at home.
Like Yad Sarah’s Jerusalem Dental Clinic, the Mobile Dental Clinic is under the auspices of the Hebrew
University-Hadassah School of Dental Medicine in Jerusalem. A volunteer dentist and an assistant
staff the Mobile Dental Clinic, which performs clinical examinations, diagnoses and full treatments in patients’ homes.
Routine treatments include plaque scaling, fillings, root therapy, regular and surgical extractions,
minor surgery, immediate and cast posts, ceramic crowns, partial and full dentures. The Yad Sarah
Mobile Dental Clinic also performs first aid procedures such as draining abscesses, cleaning out
cavities, performing fillings, temporary reconstruction, replacing old crowns and bridgework,
repairing and improving dentures by removing pressure points, repairing denture breaks, etc.
