Featured in the video clips on this new Yad Sarah channel are activities of numerous volunteers who devote their skills, talents, and creativity to serving elderly, disabled and homebound clients. You will be introduced to the broad scope of rehabilitative and recreational activities provided daily by Yad Sarah. Among the many diverse services for the neurologically impaired are musical groups, arts and crafts activities, cooking classes, gardening, and excursions.  Rehabilitation is provided in conjunction with recreation and socialization in an environment that heals the spirit as well as the body.

This is how Israel has been able to survive in a hostile environment, through the altruistic efforts of its people who find value and purpose in each person's life.

Yad Sarah's best-known service is providing free short-term loans of medical and rehabilitative equipment to anyone in Israel (including tourists) regardless of ethnicity or religion.  A stock of 250,000 items – from crutches and wheelchairs to oxygen concentrators and electronic monitors supplies 103 branches throughout Israel staffed by over 6,000 volunteers.
