Xpoint has developed a location tracking device for people who suffer from dementia. A person can be located to within 2.5 meters. The system works 24 hours a day via the internet. There is also an emergency call button connected to the system.

Neuromuscular Electrical Stimulation Systems Ltd. has produced the H200 to allow mobility to individuals with hands paralyzed from spinal cord injury, stroke and other conditions. This orthosis fits over the hand and forearm and supports the wrist at a comfortable angle to provide optimal usage of the hand. A control unit sends low level electrical currents to electrodes in the orthosis. This activates the muscles in such a way as to provide functional or therapeutic exercise of the hand. The entire device is operated through buttons on the control unit.

The unit is very helpful in daily living skills, for example, grasping a fork or holding a pen. In addition, there are other medical benefits of using the H200, including reduction in spasticity, reduction in pain, improved skin condition, and prevention of muscle atrophy.

The SPO PulseOx 7500, with a battery life of over 300 hours, provides extended monitoring of blood oxygen saturation and heart rate in ambulatory and sleep-related applications, placing the sensor at the base of the finger so it operates as a ring sensor rather than the awkward finger-tip clip.  The device is resistant to many forms of motion, and is suitable for home asthma monitoring requirements.

The urban tricycle has three wheels, with an electric motor so that one does not have to pedal. The rechargeable battery takes two hours to charge and can be used for up to four hours, and the whole device folds up to just about a meter high. When you turn the handlebars, it moves - turn the handlebars the opposite way and it brakes. It also has a hand brake so you can brake immediately if necessary.

The Saliwell project at  Assuta Medical Center in Israel has developed a removable device to help alleviate the phenomenon of dry mouth.  The GenNarino device achieves this by stimulating  saliva production through electro-stimulation. "Our devices apply a low energy level of electricity to the right nerves that lead to a higher level of saliva secretion," explained Dr. Andy Wolff, the Saliwell project coordinator.

Saliwell's solution is based on applying stimulating signals on the salivary glands associated nerves, causing the salivary glands to naturally and constantly secrete saliva at an enhanced capacity. As demonstrated by the famous researcher Pavlov, secretion of saliva increases sharply as a result of a stimulus (food in his experiments).

Perpetuum Mobile Ltd., a Holon based company has invented a unique system to improve wheelchair accessibility and freedom of mobility. Designed for wheelchair users who have limited use of their hands or feet, the wheelchair baller is an adaptive device that can be suitable for certain wheelchair users.

The baller consists of a plastic ball situated in a ring that is attached to a standard wheelchair. The user rolls the ball with the bottom of his foot. Via a system of rollers attached to the ring, the movement of the ball is translated to movement of the wheelchair and thus the user directly controls movement of the chair.
