A float full of supporters represented Yad Sarah in the annual Salute to Israel Parade held on Sunday May 31.

The Yad Sarah float rode up Fifth Avenue and encountered thousands of New Yorkers out to pay tribute to Israel and organizations like Yad Sarah.

With a colorful float, Yad Sarah delivered the message of services for the homebound, lending centers, branches and volunteers to the more than 750,000 marchers and spectators lining the parade route.  Energetic volunteers distributed stickers, enthusiastic riders waved and sang. Many of the spectators applauded in recognition of the breadth of services provided by Yad Sarah volunteers each day.
